Trick or Treat?

Halloween sneaked up on us this year and we didn't really have anything planned out! Last Saturday we went to the Haunted Forest for my first time ever! It was actually pretty cool. There were definitely parts that made me scream... and even Todd too! We had a blast.

Our Branch had a Halloween party one night this week and we didn't decide we wanted to go until 10:00pm the night before. With both of us working full-time we didn't have enough time to run out and buy a new costume. So we had to improvise! For those of you that are big fans of the TV show The Office, we dressed up as Dwight & Angela! Of course there were people at the party who had no idea who we were! But we think we pulled it off pretty good! Todd was a spitting image of Dwight Schrute!

At work on Halloween we weren't super creative but we did all decide to wear Fake eyelashes! We were a bunch of hotties :) I threw in a pair of ears with my black scrubs and decide to be a Black Cat! Everyone had such different eyelashes so it made it really fun. Kara's White lashes were a first for me to see! They looked really cool. I love the girls I work with!

On Halloween night we figured we would watch a scary movie and hand out candy to kids that came by but that didn't happen at all. Instead, Todd decided that he wanted a PlayStation 3 for his Birthday (On Sunday) and wanted it for Halloween. His friend Trevyn really wanted Todd to have it and decided that he would pay for HALF of it! So we couldn't say no! We went out and bought it and the rest of the night played games. Call of Duty, Ridge Racer and Sing Star. We really got in to Sing Star and while we were both belting out Toxic by Britney Spears, we had our first (and only) trick or treaters! Ha ha. We heard them laughing outside the door and we both ran in the back and we saying, "You get the door!" By the time we decided that I would get the door, they already left. So if it was any of your kids! Sorry! They would have got a lot of candy because we have a HUGE bowl full now! So we will gladly accept day-late trick or treaters...not even dressed up :) Needless to say, we had an awesome Halloween. We were laughing so hard the whole night!
